Taiko has found fertile grounds here in South Africa and especially in the Western Cape where in Somerset West, Tamashii Daiko is enjoying increasing interest.

Led by Ursula Coenen, who also teaches taiko, Tamashii-Daiko is presenting authentic Japanese drumming performances and classes that capture all the energy and vibe of their Japanese counterparts.
