DIRECTIONS TO GOLDENEYE FUNCTION VENUE, R44, SOMERSET WEST
FROM SOMERSET WEST
Goldeneye Function Venue is 3 km from the Lord Charles Hotel. Take the R44 to
Stellenbosch. Drive past Helderberg Village (on your left hand side) then
indicate and move into the right hand lane. At the NO ENTRY and YONDER HILL
signs, slow down to make a sharp U-TURN so that you are heading back to
Somerset West. Keep to the left lane.
After about 50 to 100m, you will see on the left, a BIG BLUE SIGN saying
PETER SPENCE RESTORER OF OIL PAINTINGS and GOLDENEYE FUNCTION VENUE. Turn
left and
first right following the GOLDENEYE FUNCTION VENUE signs. Park and follow the
paths to the function venue at the swimming pool.
FROM STELLENBOSCH
Take the R44 from Stellenbosch, past the airfield, strawberry farm and
Avontuur Wine Estate, toward Somerset West. Just after the sign for Yonder
Hill on your left, you will see a BIG BLUE SIGN saying PETER SPENCE RESTORER
OF OIL PAINTINGS and GOLDENEYE FUNCTION VENUE on your left. Turn left and
first right following the GOLDENEYE FUNCTION VENUE signs. Park and follow the
paths to the function venue at the swimming pool.

Dear Taikolovers and Friends,
I would like to invite you to our Fundraising Dinner & Wine Party and Art Auction in aid of the Japanese earthquake victims on 15th of April 2011. For more details please open the attachment.
Come and enjoy a memorable evening with fine food prepared by the Croydon Olive Estate. Entertainment will be provided by Benito Vergotine, Victor Masondo, Manouche Gypsy Jazz and Tamashii Daiko. After the dinner and entertainment, Eric Reeder, the well known auctioneer, will conduct an auction of beautiful works of art donated by well known local artists. All proceeds raised from ticket sales and the auctioned items will go directly to the Japanese Red Cross Society to help them support the victims of the recent earthquake and tsunami.
The
Croydon Olive Estate is on the R102.
Coming from Cape Town turn off on the R310 towards Stellenbosch. When you
reach the intersection with the R102, turn right and you will find Croydon
Olive Estate on the right hand side.
Coming from Somerset West on the R102 towards Kuilsriver, Croydon Olive Estate is on the left hand side.
